This is a blog run by me, a twenty-something year old who is persistently working on my own body and mind in order to be the best version of myself. I struggle with anxiety and migraines, and thus my content is largely about anxiety and migraines.
Mind
Since I can remember, anxiety has been a part of me. So much so, that I’ve always considered it part of my personality. I must be fun at parties, right?
There is of course the question of if my anxiety is the result of nature or nurture. I tend to think it’s both. You’re born prone to certain conditions, but they can be brought out by life circumstances, especially those during childhood.
I choose to think of each day as a new opportunity to rewire my brain just a little bit more.
Body
My migraines have gone through many different phases throughout my life. My “normal” throughout high school and college was one migraine a week. And then in fall 2022, they became chronic. We’re talking daily.
Like the problem solver I am, I became obsessed with figuring out why my migraines become chronic and how the heck to fix them.
As I write this, I am only getting migraines maybe once a month. I hope to use this blog to walk through everything I went through to get here.
